When powered ON, an electrical current passes through the smart film, aligning the liquid crystals and allowing light to pass freely. The result: a clear and transparent glass that keeps spaces open, bright, and elegant.
When powered OFF, the liquid crystals scatter, diffusing the light and turning the surface frosted or opaque. This instantly provides privacy while still letting in natural daylight — eliminating glare and maintaining a soft, ambient glow.

How PDLC Technology Works
POWER OFF – Frosted Mode:
In its natural (off) state, the liquid crystals are randomly oriented, scattering light and creating a frosted appearance. Around 65% of natural light still passes through, maintaining brightness without transparency.
POWER ON – Clear Mode:
When the glass is activated, the electric current aligns the liquid crystals, allowing light to pass directly. The surface becomes transparent, giving full visibility with a clean, modern look.
